Stanwell Tops and Helensburgh

Its a perfect winter morning on a weekend. Today we along with friends decided to take a drive to the south of Sydney and visit the Stanwells Top. It offers sydney's one of the best scenic drives overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A truly must place to go even if you are in Sydney for only a few days.

It took us close to 90 minutes to reach there by car. There is also a train that goes to Helesburgh which is the nearest station to the Stanwell top.

On the way we took a halt at the Helensburgh temple which is a worship place of the indian dieties. The temple's restaurant offered some authentic south india cuisine. The queue was long for the food but it was worth the wait and satisfied our taste buds enough of wanting to go back there again only for food..

We headed off to Stanwell Tops from there. It took us around 10 minutes to reach there from Helensburgh, but when we did the view was mesmerizing!!

A nice sunny day, standing on a hill top with a breath taking view below, thats what Bald Hill Lookout offers you.I wish i could come here more often.
